Yesterday we finally decided to go ahead and have the batteries replaced! Christine, especially, was concerned about the 'peace of mind' factor and Oxfordshire Narrowboats committed themselves to doing the change ready for Saturday.
They also told us that the cabin galley lights have been completed: "galley lights look great! " to quote.
Plans for our route are still in a state of flux - last evening we discovered that there is a stoppage part way up from Oxford to the head of the navigable Thames! We may do more of the Kennet and Avon as a result. But, dear reader, you will just have to follow this blog to find out what actually happens . . .
